SUMMER BREEZE

My novel Summer Breeze was inspired by the area around Lake Wyola in western Massachusetts. So many people I love live there. Plus, the mountains, lakes, forests, and streams are beautiful in all seasons.

Summer Breeze is about three young women searching for their right place in life. One of them, Morgan O’Keefe, is a scientist, interested in bio hazard safety.  This was so long ago, around 2011, when my son’s husband was working in the bio hazard safety field.

Little did I know how important that field would be come in our life times.

I asked David for an Arizona State University jacket.

Summer Breeze is about love and friendship and family, and about finding your place in the world.

Whether you’re on the ocean or a lake, it’s good to sail with a friend.

And Summer Breeze has the handsomest bad boy ever. Wow, I had fun writing about Slade. To see more choices for my pick for Slade, visit my Pinterest account.

I love going out to the Amherst area in the fall, when the leaves are turning. I may not travel this year. So I might reread Summer Breeze (I enjoy reading my own books! Is that so bad?) I invite you to read, too.
